The Scottish Seed Fund (SSF) has invested £100k in new biotechnology start-up Marine Biotech Limited (MBL)

industry investors, to be spent on a commercial R&D pilot.
Incorporated only last year, the company has also secured a
Scottish Enterprise grant for developing new technology. MBL
aims to become a leader in the field of marine pharmacology
research and development, producing commercial products
through contract manufacturing agreements.
